Must read first:
These rules apply to clans who actively raid. The rules are highly important to follow as your clans position on the top clans list will be affected by them. A clan's performance, during a raid, will be judged upon using these seven rules, which will affect their ranking on the list either positively or negatively. The rules also reflect on whether you receive good or bad publicity. There are no rules on the numbers of which the attacking or defending clan are allowed. However, attacking clans where you greatly outnumber them, more than twice the numbers, may have a negative impact on your clans publicity and ranking. Raiding clans who only have 1 or 2 members currently online is a thing of the past and you should discourage it.

#1 Keeping Score
Most clans keep scores to keep it competitive. When you kill someone you can call out +1 to the score and the name of the person you killed. If you do not call out the persons name then it may cause arguments to which the opposing clan may not count it. Scores could easily be made up by individuals / clans so its best to make sure you take screenshots or record raids just in case someone calls you a liar, however, we will help you with this. The video below demonstrates the correct way of following this rule.
#2 Backstepping/Moving
Back-stepping allows you to step back during war to avoid dying too quickly. You can only tap the back arrow key once and then you must fully block or attack before you take another step back. This must be repeated in that order. If you hold or tap it more than once in a consecutive row then the enemy team will call you out as a runner. We cannot force people not to run, however, if you harbor members who often break this rule then you must train them. If you do not train them or if they refuse to follow the rule then your clan will be known as "runners". This will greatly impact your clans credentials and rank on the top clans list. It will be very tempting to run when you're about to die so your clans score looks good. E.g. if the clan is full of runners, they may end up "winning" 30 - 0!! This sounds great but you will be ranked very low down the top clans list or even bumped off the list, due to a clans score not being as important as being well trained. Thus, keep in mind, a trained clan with good scores is regarded as far stronger than an untrained clan with good scores. And the untrained clan with good scores will also be regarded as weaker than a trained clan with bad scores.
You can not move forward when engaged in battle at any point during the battle nor leave the room. If you leave the room during a PVP or when you're about to die in a group fight that will count as running. Sidestepping is not allowed that will count as a run. The video below demonstrates all this. We do understand that people disconnect which isn't their fault. However, it will still count as a run so ensure your connection is good or don't join in until it is stable.

The demonstrator 'BabyFang' was asked to demonstrate the bare minimum correct way to backstep during this clip. His backstepping was not perfect at all and may be called a runner for it. This type of backstepping involved taking one and a half steps back, rather than just one. However, we won't call you out as a runner if you backstep like this. Do note though, if you want to be the best you must only step back once and not "a little bit more". Clans ranked number 1 only take one step back.
#3 1v1/pvp During Battle
Firstly let's make it clear how you first become engaged in a 1 v 1 during a raid. For it to become a pvp fight the enemy player has to be on their own and not in a group then you need to hit the enemy player and cause damage to that person, once you have visibly caused damage to that person then you and that player are officially locked into a PVP battle. Visible damage is where their HP moves down. Due to server lag, it may appear that you hit them, however that does not count, you must visibly drop their HP, which means you really did connect with them.
If you engage in a 1 v 1 during war, you're locked into the battle until one of you dies. There is one method of escaping and that's if a fellow clan member or an enemy clan member interrupts the fight, this is called being ''saved''. If you move out of a PVP without it being interrupted then you will be labelled as a ''runner''. If we catch you running (and we will) your clan will be negatively rated during the next top clans list update. New players who run during pvp or when backstepping must be asked to sit out of the raid until they are trained properly. If you allow this member to continue fighting then it will only harm your clan more than help.

#4 AFK Kills
AFK (away from keyboard), are players who are standing in base but are on YouTube or doing something else temporarily. When intitially raiding a clan you may end up killing someone who was AFK. This is not illegal, however, the kill will not count either. Kills are only counted if someone decides to go AFK during the raid and not before it. If you decide to count their death as +1 kill anyway, then you will be considered as breaking the rules and your clan will receive very bad publicity and will be drop down the ranks during the next list update.
#5 Clan Room Invasions
Firstly lets make it clear what a clan room invasion is. A clan room invasion is where a clan attacks you but refuses to leave your room, even though they have already clearly won the battle, because their mission is to steal your base and make it their own. It is perfectly legal to do this. Each battle that occurs during the invasion will count as a separate battle and all rules still apply. Thus, if you're going to invade a clan base then you'll need to be very organized, otherwise the clan you're invading will have the advantage, because all their members will always go to that room, whereas your clan members may go in-between the base you're invading and your own base, thus weakening your army. This may lead to another battle where your forces are massively outnumbered. Usually, outnumbering a clan is seen as a negative thing, however, since you're still the invading clan it will be seen as you still attacking them and thus it will be your fault if you're greatly outnumbered and defeated because of it.
#6 Intruders
If another clan or random people e.g. are fighting on your side but you don't want them to, then you must make it clear to the enemy clan that they're intruders. You must ask them to ignore those individuals. If the enemy clan continues to kill these intruders, after you have told them that they are intruders, then don't worry about it because it will not count as a kill! The enemy clan will be wasting their time fighting these intruders while fighting your clan, thus, it will be to your clans benefit if they refuse to ignore them and try to count them as a kill.
#7 Regrouping / relocating
If a clan calls a tactical regroup e.g. ''X clan to the bridge'' then players are allowed to run to the designated location. However, if they are below 40% health, then the players need to recover above 40% before they are allowed to join the tactical regroup. Remember, running away from a 1v1 is forbidden and only if you're ''saved'' in this manner may you regroup. Go back to rule #3 if you are still unsure about pvp's during battle and "saves". Players who call people runners when they aren't running will only make themselves look like they don't understand the rules properly, and remember, players who do not understand the rules will greatly and negatively impact their clans position on the top clans list and annual clans list.
